Wholesaling is the practice of making an offer on a property with the intention of assigning that offer for a higher price to another buyer, and receiving the gain on that transaction. This is called selling the contract. For Example, a seller will make an agreement with a wholesale buyer for $100,000. The wholesale buyer will then find another buyer to buy the property at $110,000, thereby receiving a $10,000 gain for the wholesale buyer when the transaction closes. The wholesaler sells the contact to the end buyer for $10,000 more.
